Adam Rhys Charles – Senior Coach
There is nothing more exciting and rewarding than the palpable feeling of others responding to your expression – to make people feel and think, laugh and engage. This is what drew me into the world of theatre and what ultimately led me to become a voice, accent and communication coach here at London Speech Workshop.
After completing my BA at Arts Educational Schools London in 2010, I have gone on to work in theatre all over the world, including the National Theatre, across London’s West End and overseas. My passion for all things voice took me to the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama where I completed my MA in Voice Studies in 2021 and have been teaching and coaching in a number of different settings for a range of different people over the last few years.
Accent-softening work has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of my practice. Meeting people from all over the world and facilitating a discovery of finding oneself within a second, third or fourth language is a real joy to me. As well as my teaching experience in some of London’s leading drama schools, I have worked alongside world-class voice/accent & dialect coaches and have provided effective communication coaching for business professionals across London.
I feel extremely privileged to be part of the team of brilliant coaches here at London Speech Workshop and take great pride in helping every client become the best communicator they can be in every aspect of their life.
